Hurricane Harvey and Our Disaster Preparedness

As all of you know who live along the Gulf Coast, hurricane season is unpredictable, in some cases, dramatically so. If you’ve been following the news, Hurricane Harvey (currently a category 3 major storm) is scheduled to make landfall near Corpus Christi this evening or early Saturday morning.

While this initially will only impact the Houston area minimally, heavy rains are expected throughout the region and widespread flooding through late next week.

We thought it prudent to update you on our preparedness and plans.

First, if you do host your website with us, please be assured that we expect ZERO downtime. Our servers are not hosted in Texas for this very reason.

Second, while we do expect to work throughout much of the next week, please be advised that update requests may take longer than usual. However, please feel free to contact us per usual and we will respond as soon as possible.

Finally, please be safe out there. Below are a few good resources that can help you through the storms. All the best and we’ll see you on the other side!
